I have been slowly doing my 120k. Now I am to the point where i need to torque my crank pulley and intake gears. I haven't had much success with the belt wrapping. I am down to A) putting a socket w/extension through the gear to hold them or B) purchasing a tool that a guy sells on 3zclub, but he wants a good chunk for it and i hate to do that for just 2 bolts. Well today a strap wrench caught my eye and I was thinking. "why can't I pull the strap out and put part of my old timing belt on". Thoughts? I know I am not the first person to think of that.
